<rant> Seriously, it cost me £10 for a glass of coke and some nachos. Anywhere else in the UK (or the planet, for that matter), and it'd be surprising if I was charged more than £5. Think I'm buying all snacky stuff at Guildford Station before I go to London next time. </rant>
Hah... Well you add the hotel price, price of a pasport, I need a suitcase (I can probably borrow one from a friend or neighbor), food, drink, CANDY, transportation to and from hotel/airport, candy...
Yeah, at that point, going further away from the capitol looks more appealing. Seriously, I find it funny that so many tourists don't realize they can go further out from London, and still be able to get easily back into London.
The image would have probably have been clearer otherwise.
